IAPT - Improving Access to Psychological Therapies
Talk Liverpool is a free NHS service offering psychological therapies to adults. Their range of treatment programmes are designed to give the right information to help you develop the skills needed to overcome your problems. They have a range of options on offer, including telephone and video consultations, or online help which you can use at home.

WorryTree - free mobile app
WorryTree helps you record, manage and problem solve your worries and anxiety based on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) techniques. They’ve created a very simple, easy to use and practical app that will support you through the problem-solving process helping you to either make a plan to deal with your worry, or find in-the-moment distractions to help you cope and move on with your day.
WorryTree is approved by the NHS and features in the App Library.
Suicidal crisis support for men
"We provide a service to men in suicidal crisis. Contact us by phone or the form on our website. We will ask a couple of questions to make sure that we can help, and will arrange a time for you to come and meet us. Our service is for men and those who identify as men, over 18."

During the COVID-19 pandemic The Life Rooms are able to offer support to help you with your basic daily needs - for example, you’ll be able to ask for help with your groceries, collecting prescriptions, mental health support or financial advice. The Liverpool Community Alcohol Service (LCAS) works in local communities across Liverpool. Around 75 clinics are held each week at easily accessible sites. LCAS brings together the skills and knowledge of specialist qualified alcohol nurses and alcohol health workers to deliver a recovery focused service to those struggling with their alcohol intake.

Kooth - online mental wellbeing for young people
Kooth is an online mental wellbeing community. This free, safe and anonymous support service is commissioned by Liverpool CCG for all young people aged between 10-25 years old.
Kooth, accredited by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, does not require a GP referral and can be accessed at www.kooth.com
CAMHS - Child & Adolescent Mental Health Service
Offering specialist services to support children and young people in Liverpool and Sefton, up to the age of 18, who are experiencing mental health difficulties. They also provide support to their families or carers.

FRESH CAMHS - Information and support for young people
In summer 2015 a group of young people who had experience of CAMHS launched a campaign, with the support of Alder Hey, to fight the stigma of mental health. Provides treatment to children and young people with Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa and Eating Disorders Not Otherwise Specified (EDNOS) and Binge Eating Disorder in Liverpool and Sefton. This dedicated Community-based service provides a timely access to multi-disciplinary assessment and intervention to children and young-people from across Liverpool and Sefton up to the age of 18.
Sunflowers is an independent charity which exists to improve the lives of local people affected by cancer: patients, survivors and carers. Our service is managed by a small staff team and supported by a team of highly skilled volunteers. We offer a wide range of weekly activities, workshops and courses.
