Do you look after someone and classed as a carer. We want to ensure we identify carers, especially those without help or support.
We feel that caring for someone is an important and valuable role in the community, which is often a 24-hour job that can be very demanding and isolating for the carer. We are aware that carers are entitled to support such as entitlement to benefits and respite care.
As a carer, you are entitled to have your needs assessed by Adult Care Services.
If you are a carer, please advise the practice so we can offer you free flu jabs and support. We will update the practice records and pass your details to the Carers Service who can provide relevant information and advice, local support services. At your request we can refer you to Adult Care Services for a carer’s assessment.
If not already registered with us as a carer, please let us know and we will update out records.
